At Astanga Yoga London's Dharma Shala, students work through their practice at their own pace while the teacher offers individual guidance. This Mysore format differs from a class where everyone follows the same spoken sequence together. New students can contact a teacher and observe before starting; visitors with an established practice are welcome too. The shala also holds occasional led classes. Read the arrival guidance and check moon-day closures before planning a visit.
Booking your place
Choose the session that fits your day and contact its teacher before your first visit. Beginners should arrange an introduction rather than arrive expecting a conventional led class. Ask about the appropriate pass, missed sessions and booking changes; reserve a place separately for a led class.
